Galentine’s Day, that takes place on February 13th, is even better than Valentine’s Day in my opinion. What’s better than celebrating a holiday of love with ladies who truly love you. Sister from another mister, the peanut to your jelly, Lilo to your Stich, Serna to your Blaire whatever the duo is, this holiday is about celebrating your friendship. In my case these ladies are my Samantha, Miranda, and Charlotte or my Blanche, Dorothy, and Rose. I’ve said this before, but after being in the blogging industry for a few year, I have found an amazing group of women who I am so lucky to call friends. I’ve rounded up a couple of ideas to celebrate Galentine’s Day this here and what to wear!

Girl’s Night Out- Yes, the good ol’ fun girls night out! When was the last time you actually had a girls night out with your bestie? I honestly can’t remember! Round up your ladies and grab a drink then get to a dance floor and shake it out. Some of the funnest nights I have had with my ladies are the nights where we go in with no expectations, no desire to meet anyone new, and pick a random place we have never been to. Be spontaneous and go have some fun!
Get Dolled Up- From a very young age, I have held sleepover parties where my friends and I will get dressed up and have a photoshoot. Grab your gal pals and hire a photographer to get the best shots of you and your besties.
Pink the prettiest pink place to have dinner. If you live in NYC- I recommend Pietro Nolita! Pop open a bottle of pink rose and toast to your friendship.
I’m guessing since you’re already friends, you have the same sense of humor. See if there are any comedy shows you can check out that night. I’m sure there will be some jokes on single females, but hopefully they will be the empowering kind.

I love all shades of pink! But wearing all shades of pink and once is even better! This winter, I’m trying to keep my wardrobe colorful and fun. Read more about my tips on how to incorporate color here. I also try to mix up items I already own to create new looks. Today I’m showing you a color blocked pink look. It’s simple to re-create and it’s perfect with Valentine’s Day right around the corner.

I’m a huge fan of pink blazers! They are powerful and look gorgeous in every shade of pink. It’s also a piece that can be worn in so many ways. See other ways I’ve worn it here, here, and here. Pair this blazer with a sleek pair of trousers, jeans, or even a skirt. The possibilities with a bold blazer is endless. For this look, I wanted to wear a casual suit so I put on my favorite trousers.

My favorite to way to complete a look is to wear a white shirt. It looks clean, modern, and you’re not trying too hard. Plus, it costs about $10! Can’t beat that.

I finish the look off with pink accents like these fun bow slides that are incredibly comfortable! These sneakers have been on repeat lately because I can wear them for hours. To boost up the glamour, I brought in my pink fur stole and heart shaped sunglasses.
