Primer: Elf Power Grip Primer vs. Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Gripping Primer ($10 vs. $38)
Both products feature hydrating ingredients like Glycerin and Hyaluronic Acid to provide long-lasting moisture and plump the skin.
Both give a “cooling” sensation upon application.
Both are best applied with fingers in a dabbing motion vs. rubbing
They also contain gripping agents like Dimethicone in e.l.f.'s primer and Hemp-Derived Cannabis Seed Extract in Milk Makeup's primer to create a sticky base for makeup application.
Despite the price difference, both products offer similar benefits regarding makeup longevity, hydration, and skin smoothing.
Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Gripping Primer is a staple, but Elf Power Grip Primer, priced at only $10, seamlessly grips onto your makeup, providing a velvety texture that helps your foundation stay put. Despite its affordable price tag, Elf's Power Grip Primer does not compromise on quality, ensuring a flawless base for your makeup without breaking the bank.
Foundation: L'Oreal Paris Infallible Fresh Wear vs. Very Valentino Long Wear Liquid Foundation ($19 vs. $60)
Both foundations feature long-wearing formulas that provide buildable coverage and a natural finish.
They also contain hydrating ingredients like Glycerin and Hyaluronic Acid to ensure comfortable wear throughout the day.
Additionally, they offer SPF protection to shield the skin against sun damage and premature aging.
Both are great for all skin types but especially great for oily and combination skin.
Despite the price difference, both products offer similar benefits in terms of coverage, longevity, and skincare benefits.
Although the $60 Very Valentino foundation is one of my top 3 foundations, the price tag is steep. L'Oreal Paris Makeup Infallible Fresh Wear Foundation offers the same long-lasting coverage for only $19. The L’Oreal is long-lasting and has impeccable coverage - all at a fraction of the cost. It provides a lightweight feel while offering buildable coverage and a fresh, radiant finish. It is also great for oily skin types (I’ve worn this for 10 hours and did not look greasy by the end of the day).
Tinted Bronzer: Versed Mood Lighting Glow Drops vs. Drunk Elephant D-Bronzi Anti-Pollution Sunshine Drops ($17 vs. $38)

Both tinted formulas adds warmth and dimension to the skin, enhancing its natural beauty and luminosity.
They contain nourishing ingredients like Sunflower Seed Oil and Cocoa Extract to hydrate and protect the skin against environmental stressors.
Despite the price difference, both products offer similar benefits in terms of natural-looking glow, hydration, and antioxidant protection.
Drunk Elephant's D-Bronzi Drops are a fan favorite, but the Versed Mood Lighting Glow Drops at just $17 is better. You can capture the same sun-kissed radiance with Versed Mood Lighting Glow Drops. These drops effortlessly illuminate your complexion, offering a natural, dewy glow. The lightweight formula allows for easy blending, making it a fantastic dupe that won't break the bank.

They contain nourishing ingredients like Hyaluronic Acid and Caffeine to hydrate, plump, and brighten the skin.
Despite the price difference, both products offer similar benefits in terms of coverage, hydration, and skincare benefits.
The main difference between the two are the packaging, applicator, and price point.
Kosas Revealer Concealer was a favorite by so many this year. However, if you want to save your money, the NYX Bare With Me Concealer Serum at only $12 is just as creamy and even has skincare benefits because of ingredients like tremella mushroom, cica, and green tea for up to hydration.

Rare Beauty's Melting Cream Blush is stunning but not my personal favorite. However, the Elf Luminous Putty Blush for just $7 is gorgeous! It is creamy, easy to blend, pigmented, and even has a slight shimmer in it. Personally, I will definitely be grabbing the Elf anyday.
Cream Contour: Elf Cosmetics Halo Glow Contour Wand vs. Charlotte Tilbury Contour Wand ($9 vs. $42)
Both products feature creamy formulas that provide buildable coverage and a natural, sculpted finish.
Both products have very similar (almost identical) packaging.
Both are easy to blend out.
They contain nourishing ingredients like Jojoba Oil and Hyaluronic Acid to hydrate and nourish the skin.
Charlotte Tilbury's Contour Wand is luxurious, but so is Elf Cosmetics Halo Glow Contour Wand for only $9. I wish there was a bigger shade range for the Elf Wands but the colors they have are workable.
Bronzer: Juvias Place Creamy Bronzer vs. Nars Laguna Cream Bronzing Cream ($17 vs. $40)
Both products feature creamy formulas that provide buildable coverage and a natural, luminous finish.
They contain nourishing ingredients like Shea Butter, Jojoba Oil, and Vitamin E to hydrate and condition the skin.
Juvias Place bronzer is way creamier and easier to blend.
Juvias Place also carries a wider shade range and is very inclusive of skin tones.
Despite the price difference, both products offer similar benefits in terms of bronzing and luminosity.
Nars Laguna Cream Bronzing Cream is a classic, but Juvias Place Creamy Bronzer is a great dupe at $17.
Eyebrow: L'Oreal Brow Stylist Definer vs. Benefit Precisely, My Brow Pencil ($11 vs. $26)
Both products feature retractable pencils with fine tips that allow for precise, natural-looking brow definition.
They contain similar ingredients such as synthetic beeswax and carnauba wax to provide a creamy texture for easy application and blending.
Why spend $26 on Benefit when L'Oreal Brow Stylist Definer is just as precise for $11? The L’Oreal tip is just as precise and I have tested if it is waterproof and trust me, it is! The brows also look super natural because the shades are great!
Lips: Maybelline Lifter Gloss vs. Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb ($11 vs. $21)
Both products feature glossy formulas that provide hydration and shine to the lips without feeling sticky or heavy.
Both have a great color range and colors are very similar.
Both have a similar consistency and feeling on the lips.
They contain nourishing ingredients like Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin E, and Shea Butter to hydrate and condition the lips.
Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb is iconic, but Maybelline Lifter Gloss is equally fabulous at only $11. The shade range is also very similar so grab two Maybelline lippies for the price of one.
Setting Mist: Revolution Makeup Superfix vs. One Size On 'Til Dawn Mattifying Setting Spray ($15 vs. $32)
Both products feature lightweight formulas that provide a matte finish and control excess oil and shine.
Both have a fine, misting spray nozzle that evenly distributes the product onto the skin, setting makeup in place.
They contain hydrating ingredients like Glycerin and Butylene Glycol to nourish and condition the skin.
Achieve a flawless finish without spending $32 on One Size – Revolution Makeup Superfix Super Hold Setting Spray does the job at just $15. The packaging is similar, the way the products sprays on is nearly identical, and they both makeup last so long!
